The Mortdale clubrooms of AMRA NSW offer facilities for all types of activity associated with railway modelling, be they construction, running, holding the Association's annual Exhibition and meetings and administration. At the front of the building is a spacious meeting room with a large well-equipped kitchen; also adjacent are ladies and gents/disabled toilets.

At the rear of the building off the exhibition layout area is a gents with shower. There is a separate workshop with vice, drill press, grinder and other tools; a Library room contains many old and rare publications and current magazines. The Exhibition storage area houses all equipment and materials used for the annual model railway exhibition.
